2012 Giant Defy 5
Pros:
very light
Cons:
stock tires are weak 363 miles and the Kenda stock rear is spent.
Comments:
The frame features neutral-handling geometry with a steeper seat angle than most other entry-level bikes, which puts the rider in a more upright, forgiving position. Shimano shifters and derailleurs combined with an FSA Tempo triple crank deliver a wide gearing range to let you go slowly up climbs or quickly along the flats, and even though the bike has a taller front end, the tapered head tube and steerer—a rare feature at this level—ensure that you get precise handling. from : http://www.wimbike.com

First Road Bike
Pros:
Light
Cons:
Stock tires are weak 364 miles and the Kenda stock rear is spent.
Comments:
Moved up to my first true road bike this year. Kenda stock tire in the rear already wearing through. Got it 10/13/11 now 11/21/11 364 miles on it. Previous main stay bicycle was a Shogun from the early 90's and it had a biopace crank.
